Dolphin Books and Prints was established in 1975 as a used and out-of-print book store and has developed over the years to include rare books, antique prints and maps as well as framed art in a wide range of subjects and materials dating from the 17th through the 20th centuries. At our shop we maintain an inventory of 10,000 to 12,000 volumes covering a wide range of subjects including MAINEIANA, AMERICANA, MODERN FIRSTS, TRAVEL & EXPLORATION, MARITIME, ART & ARCHITECTURE, POETRY, MYSTERY, JUVENILE and AMERICAN and BRITISH LITERATURE.
